Which n8n do I need?
Self-hosted or n8n Cloud, version 1.60 or later.
What does it cost to run, beyond the $79?
Your own n8n hosting (free if self-hosted) and AI API usage — typically under $1/month for a handful of pages, since summaries are only generated when a real change is detected.
What if a competitor's site blocks the monitor?
You'll get an alert telling you the fetch failed, instead of silent failure. Some heavily JS-rendered sites need a different fetch approach — that's documented, and a rendering upgrade is planned for a future version at no extra cost to you.
Can I watch more than 2–3 pages?
Yes — add as many targets as you want in the config. No artificial limit.
Is there a free version I can try first?
